The Northwoods Geology Club is open to all ages, young and old with an interest in rocks and minerals. Meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Florence Resource Center (lower level) at 6:30 p.m.
For our May 22nd meeting Kelly Laughlin will come and teach us how to wire wrap our stones for jewelry. If you have them bring plyers, wire and any stones you would like to wrap. Smooth plyers without ridges work better than the ones with ridges. Hope to see you all there!
In June we will have a short meeting at the Resource Center and then we will take a trip down the road to Gordy's farm to see his rock fence.
